If I were to found a political party I'd like to found the
PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLIST PARTY,
we'd march all through Rome with our bikes and walking sticks,
demanding the right to WALK and BIKE in Rome.
Drivers seem to think that pedestrians are invisible.
You wouldn't know how many times we risked getting run over.
Two very close friends recently got hit by a car,
the drivers were clergymen... (that is very Roman indeed).
Rome recently boasts of a long cycling road that follows the Tiber.
Going up north one can enjoy the idyllic Rome
full of sheep, cows and horses.

Here's a photo of one of the Roman cyclists, "The Backward Biker".
