２００８年 ７月１１日 「マーディア」完成！ Restoration completed!

As soon as I finised wax-polishing the 'madia' (kneading trough),
I sent an sms to Nadia to tell her the good news.
She promptly called back to tell me that she was coming to get 'her'
(every piece of furniture that I restore assumes a personality)
immediately with her magical van!
We carried the 'old lady' out of the work-shop into the summer.
The street was quite deserted, but the few cars that passed us
seemed to admire the lady proudly brought back to life.
Unfortunately when you lift the lid (very very cool inside!!!)
the odor of mice still lingers even after having been washed thrice
with detergent.
A bag full of lavender might do the trick!

パン入れ完成！
蜜蝋で磨き終わった後にすぐにナディアにメッセージ送信。
「すぐとりにくる！」という電話がすぐにかかってきた。
ずうううっとヴィッラの車庫に眠っていた（野ネズミの巣と化していた）
「マーディア」、ついに人間の生活の時間の流れの中に復帰。
かなり年をとった「おばあさん」なので、大切にしてあげないと。
野ネズミの残した臭いは洗剤で洗浄してもとれず。
ラヴェンダーの袋を入れておくといいのかも。
蓋を開けると中がとっても涼しい。
木ってなんていいものなんだろう。
