Luigi Filippo様式のセクレテール

This Luigi Filippo style secr?taire came back from the auction some days ago.
(They didn't seem very trustworthy anyway...)
This was bought at the Arezzo Antique Fair three years ago, and was restored by
Ferna' and me. This compact and elegant piece goes back to the early nineteenth century,
and probably comes from Naples.
The veneer is Indian sandlewood and maple.
Its state of conservation is not perfect but almost all the wood is original.

こちらは工房の主力がアレッツォで３年前に購入。
彼らが修復する時間がなかったのでフェルナと私がやらせてもらったのだが、
紫檀ともみじが張られた、小型の、ちょっとしゃれた家具だ。
保存状態は決していいとはいえないが、
開けた時に見える机内部の後ろの板をのぞけば、ほどんとオリジナル。
